The wood peeling machine is crucial in plywood manufacturing, as it can efficiently remove the bark of the wood and round the core, saving a lot of labor costs. To maintain its good performance, repair and maintenance cannot be ignored.
Before each shift, a comprehensive inspection of the machine is required. Ensure that all fastening components are secure and rotating components are flexible without jamming, to avoid malfunctions caused by looseness or jamming.
The blade state directly affects the peeling effect. Regularly check the sharpness and condition of the blade. If the blade becomes dull or damaged, the surface of the wood will become rough. At this point, the blade should be sharpened promptly to ensure the quality of peeling.
The wear of the slider combination double roller should not be underestimated. Severe wear can cause excessive clearance between the double rollers, resulting in uneven and rough wood surfaces. The clearance can be adjusted by adjusting the screw on the slider and locked in time to prevent problems from occurring.
The inspection of hydraulic stations and pipeline systems is equally crucial. Check for any oil leakage, and if so, replace the oil pipe or sealing ring in a timely manner. At the same time, pay attention to the oil temperature, which should not exceed 60 ℃. Once it is too high, stop working immediately, investigate the cause, and prevent equipment damage due to high temperature.
Proper maintenance and upkeep of the peeling machine can not only extend its service life, but also improve production efficiency and ensure the smooth progress of plywood manufacturing work.
