1.Drain Water from the Heating System
Remove any leftover water to heat up the system quickly and avoid damage.
2.Set the Right Temperature
Adjust the steam pressure as needed and start heating the dryer. To keep heat inside, close the exhaust valve during this phase.
3.Start the Fans
Turn on the heating section fans one by one to speed up the warming process. If using a new machine, check the fan direction and belt tension.
4.Start the Drive System
Once the dryer reaches the set temperature, turn on the drive system and set the correct speed. Adjust the exhaust valve to maintain proper humidity inside.
5.For Belt Dryers
Adjust the belt speed slowly to prevent misalignment. If the dryer is new, check if the automatic alignment system is working properly.
Avoid making sudden speed changes while the dryer is running.
2.For Belt Dryers
Adjust the front and back belt speeds to prevent veneer cracking or warping. Also, ensure the feeding and unloading devices work smoothly.
3.For Roller Dryers
Let veneers slightly overlap when entering the dryer to avoid blockages.
4.Monitor Moisture Levels
Check the final moisture content of the veneer and adjust the drying speed if needed.
1.Turn Off in Order
Slowly reduce feeding speed, stop the drive motor, then turn off the hot air and cooling fans. Make sure no veneer is left inside.
2.Shut Off the Heating System
Close heating valves and drain any remaining water.
